12V Remote FAQ

We are constantly asked questions about the customized projects and some modifications on our 12V RMs. Here is the list of what we can do for variety of applications and projects and the answers to some frequently asked questions:

1. All the 12V RMs we have in stock are set in default at OFF mode. We can change the default mode to ON for special projects and applications on special order basis. It takes approximately 20 days to make for quantity not over 500 pcs.

2. All the 12V RMs we have in stock are made in latch mode. We can do it in momentary mode as well for special projects and applications on special order basis. It takes approximately 20 days to make for quantity not over 500 pcs.

3. We have our 12V RM made with different codes programmed by computer in the manufacture phrase. There are total 500 codes. So there is 1/500 chance that you could get the RMs with the same code. We can make our RMs with the same code so that you can use the same transmitter to control multiple receivers, or any code combination you desire for your projects or application on special order basis.

4. We have different styles of keychain transmitters from single button to multiple buttons. Please consult your sales rep. for details.

5. We can add a timer to our 12V RM in latch mode to turn it off at the specified time, which means you can turn on your RM by press the ON button, and then turn it off either manually or by the timer at the preset time.

6. Our 12V RM can be made for pulse or contact closure output at your option. As for the control type, here is the list of control types we can do:

Toggle: Press->On; Press again->Off
Latched: Press->On; Press other button->Off
Momentary: Press and hold->On; Release->Off
